Free Lanka manages two Plantation Companies, namely, Pussellawa Plantations Ltd. and Maturata Plantations Ltd. The former comprises of twelve Tea Estates, four Tea cum Rubber Estates and nine Rubber Estates, whilst the latter Company comprises of nineteen Tea Estates. The Extent of Tea, grown in the High, Medium and Low elevations of the company is 16,000 ha., and the extent of rubber is 6,000 ha., producing 14,000 million kgs of Tea per annum, 5 million kgs. of Rubber and a significant volume of all varieties of Spices.
